Uta no Prince-sama MUSIC 2 start screen

With the game release less than a month away, Broccoli and NIS software have released some of the final details of the upcoming rhythm/dating game.

 The first addition is "Challenge mode"

Introduced in the game "Uta no prince-sama Debut", challenge mode takes the rhythm lessons and gives the player objectives to meet. Either reaching a combo or certain scores, rewards them with and bonus MP (Music Points) 

Next is the updates MP system 

Playing songs earns you MP to buy customization options

 MP in Music 2 can be used to customize your "Play Screen". Characters, Costumes, Backgrounds, Colors, Songs and Sound Effects can be "purchased" with MP. MP (Music Points) can be earned from playing songs. Through high scores, combos, and event triggers, The player can accumulate MP and make their dream screen.

Combo voice.
Depending on the song, two character voices can be selected. During the game, they can cheer you on. But be careful! Broccoli warns they can even start a fight during your game play!


System Partner
Newest feature that has fans excited is the System Partner. Your system partner is your constant companion in game. The voice will call to you when you turn the game on, when you change costumes, on your birthday, and when you complete a song.

By changing the "System Character" option, You can be greeted and encouraged only by your favorite idol. 

The System Partner also acts as your save data icon. System options also gives you the choice to turn off a voice. (Should you really dislike someone)

Another addition to the "System Characters" is the character "Onpu-kun"

The character "Onpu-kun" (Onpu is the Japanese word for "music note") is supposedly drawn by the character Otoya. Onpu-kun can become your system character and even says "maikka-" to you.

A wild group of Onpu-kuns have appeared! 

Broccoli has announced the following songs will be available out of box. Meaning these are the game's "Starting songs" completing songs will unlock more songs and event triggers. It also gets you closer to the idol of your dreams.

Uta no Prince-sama MUSIC 2 goes on sale September 5th.

 The anime "Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 2000%" has finished its television run however, A third season has been hinted at if DVD and Blu-ray sales continue to do well. So Broccoli and A-1 have pulled out all the stops for the releases.

The third installment of Uta no Prince-sama MAJI LOVE 2000% includes the continuation of the "returning quiz no prince-sama" For this version, Voice actor and singer Kisho Taniyama and singer turned voice actor Shouta Aoi take the handcuffed challenge. Will they be able to win the marshmallow catching contest? and what will Piyo-chan wear this time? Or will he have to try to escape from Taniyama?

Along with Quiz no Prince-sama, volume 3 comes with the textless ending animation Maji Love 2000%. A bouns disk with Soundtrack 2 for the anime will be included. Those who pre-order volume 3 (DVD or BD) will recieve a B2 Japan Boys Collection poster featuring Ren Jinguji. This pre-order is available over seas only through HMV Japan, and Neo Wing (CD-Japan) 

Volume 3 goes on sale August 28th.

Volmue 6: Release date 11/26: Character commnets. Return quiz no prince-sama. (Guests unknown). HE★VENS GATE by HE★VENS - Eichi Otori (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa) Kira Sumeragi (CV: Daisuke Ono) and Nagi Mikado (Tsubasa Yonaga) 

The details for Volume 7 have yet to be released.
