The highlight of this pre-order set, the commander's book of secrets allows the readers to see character designs, historical information, and profiles. Famous tactician Sun Tzu said "Know thy self, Know thy enemy" Somehow, Yukimura Sanada has taken that to the extreme in this costume themed after his intense rival and sometimes enemy, Masamune Date.

Capcom's newest franchise "Gaist Crushers" has since TGS offered the "Jet Masamune" Gaist as one that can be beaten and achieved in game.

Sengoku BASARA 4 - More characters and new world map!

Following their announcement of new characters and emphasis on Sengoku BASARA 4 at Tokyo Game Show 2013, Capcom has announced another new character and brought back some more of the series's famous characters.

Naotora Ii (CV: Maaya Sakamoto)

Historically. After her father's execution, Naotora took leadership of her clan. She supported Ieyasu's campaigns after he helped them reclaim their land. However, it was once again taken away from them by the Takeda clan.

Naotora faces off with Yukimura Sanada

Sengoku BASARA's Naotora has a bone to pick with the men of the world. Feeling that all battles and death are fault of men and their stupid pride, She takes upon herself to end the fighting once and for all.
Creating an army of maiden warriors, she sets out to defend the women of the warring states period. Due to the Takeda army, Naotora's wedding plans were ruined. So with her hot temper, she has set her sights on the punishing Takeda army... Especially the young tiger of Kai...

 Naotora uses a broadsword. Her attacks focus on sweeps. She is able to link attacks together using the force of gravity to continuously juggle her enemies.

Naotora Ii is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto. Sakamoto is known for singing voice as well as her voice for characters such as: "Hitomi Kanzaki" from "Vision of Escaflowne" "Aerith Gansborough" from "Final Fantasy VII (Kingdom Hearts, Advent Children), "Ciel Phantomhive" from "Black Butler" "Lunamaria Hawke" from "Gundam SEED Destiny" and "Aura" from the "dot//hack" series.

Yukimura Genjiro Sanada (CV: Soichiro Hoshi)

A character that has been around since game one, Yukimura Sanada is the other face of BASARA. His rivalry with Masamune Date helped launch the game to the success it is now. Nicknamed the "young tiger of Kai", Yukimura is the young successor in training for the Takeda army. 

Yukimura's duel staff blades return. 

Slightly younger than the previous games, BASARA 4's Yukimura still has his trademark duel blades. Capcom hasn't released much information about the difference in game play from previous games but has said that Yukimura's combos will be more devastating.

Yukimura's aerial attack 

Yukimura's roll in Sengoku BASARA 4 hasn't been revealed too much. It is stated that Naotora Ii has it out for him. Somehow being part of the reason she couldn't get married. Not much else has been revealed though. 

Yukimura fights Sakno Shima in a battle of the pretty boys 

Yukimura Sanada is voiced by Soichiro Hoshi. Hoshi typically voices young characters such as "Kira Yamato" from "Gundam SEED" "Son Goku" from "Saiyuki" "'Jin Tendo" from "Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side first love plus" "Akira" from "Samurai Deeper Kyo" and "Kaoru Hanabishi from "Ai Yori Aoshi"

Sasuke Sarutobi (CV: Takehito Koyasu) 

Since game one, Sarutobi Sasuke has been sneaking around the world working as the Ninja of the Takeda army. While he is seemingly loyal to the Takeda clan, one can only wonder about the smiling Ninja. 

Sasuke returns with his shuriken blades as well as his shadow manipulating attacks.

As with Yukimura, his role in Sengoku BASARA 4 hasn't been revealed. He is still working for the Takeda army however.

Sasuke is voiced by Takehito Koyasu. Koyasu is one Japan's most influential voice actors. He has voiced such characters as "Milliardo Peacecraft/Zechs Marquies" in "Gundam Wing" "Hotohori" from "Fushigi Yuugi", "Ran "Aya" Fujimiya" from "Weiss Kruez", "Il Palazzo" from "Excel Saga" and "Dio Brando" from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" 

NPC - Shingen Takeda 

Joining the ranks of NPC boss is Shingen Takeda. Takeda has been in Sengoku BASARA games since the beginning but has often finds himself as a NPC boss. He was playable in the last release Sengoku BASARA 3 UTAGE. 

Takeda seen fighting Naotori in this blurred action shot. 

Shingen's role in the game is not yet known. As we can see, he impacts Naotori's route in some way. 

Shingen Takeda is voiced by veteran voice actor Tessho Genda. Genda is known for his other roles such as "Umibozu" from "City Hunters", "Action Kamen" (Action Bastard) from "Crayon Shin-chan", "D" from "Project A-Ko" "Kratos" from "God of War" (Japan), and "Optimus Prime" from "Transformers" 

New Features: 

Capcom claims to have "leveled up" the game play of BASARA adding dynamic menus and world maps. The "Sengoku Genesis" Mode (AKA Story Mode) integrates all of the necessary elements of the game into part of the story.  

Character Select screen. 

In a departure from the original games, the character select screen has become part of the story. With Ashikaga reading from a scroll, the stories of the warlords in battle.

The next new feature is the stage select screen. It has become more than just a map of Japan. Now you see yourself as your character traveling through Japan. 

Masamune needs no hands to ride to victory. On this world map you can change setting and select your stage

The stage select screen also plays host to conversations between characters. 

Masamune and Kojuro converse about battle

Lastly, the stage select screen shows you the reports of other battles around the land of the sun. Players can now be treated to cut scenes from other battles. Shedding more light on the battles happening around you.

That's all the news we have for now. While Capcom still plans to have a stage event for Sengoku BASARA 4 at Tokyo Game Show 2013, They have not released a schedule yet.
