Gaist Crusher is a customization arms action game developed by Treasure and released through CAPCOM.

Gaists

Gaists are the powerful spirits that take form in Gaist Crushers. These elemental giants can be combined with each other to great stronger versions of themselves as well.

Warriors

Gaist Crushers features an array of characters but its focus are on the three main warriors who are all members of the same operative- GCG or Gaist Crusher Galleon.

From L to R, these are the heroes Rekka, Hayato, and Kurama all in their GaiGear.

Gaimedals

Fighting is based on the use of Gaimedals, medals made from a mysterious and legendary metal that showed up on earth at some unknown point in time. These medals hold the spirits of Gaists and assist the warriors in battle.

Each Gaimedal is based on a mythical creature with elemental power. Two Gaists can be blended together to release a powerful entity called a Soul Gaist that assists each warrior in battle. Capcom is releasing sets of Gaimedals- you'll get both an unfold-able Gaist and a base that represents another Gaist. When combined they provide a more powerful version of each Gaist.

GaiGear

GaiGear is the 'final form' of sorts for the GaiMedals- it becomes actual armor for each warrior and allows them to fight in hand-to-hand combat with the power of their GaiMedals.

Release Exclusives

The game is being released as an individual title and as a two different special sets called the GaiPhone Set via E-CAPCOM.

Gaist Crusher Explosive! GaiPhone Set

Along with your copy of the game, you'll receive the GaiPhone Cover for you 3DS and a Dark Dullahan GaiMedal. This item plays right into the game, as you can collect various GaiMedals and use them in-game on your warriors.

You will also get a special point card featuring heroines Hisui, Sango, and Kohaku that if you scan it with your 3DS, you'll receive 3,000 Points in game!

Lastly, they give you a hand towel from the in game shop, Shiromeshi-ya!

Normal Release

The standard release on E-CAPCOM gets you the game, the special point card, and the Shiromeshi-ya hand towel.

You can currently play the demo for Gaist Crusher via Nintendo e-Shop if you own a Japan Region 3DS!

Sengoku BASARA HD collection update. BSR48 FOR ALL!

Despite previous statements that the BSR48 CD would be available only to E-capcom members, HMV Japan has announced that they will be shipping the CD to those who preorder through HMV Japan. The CD called "Soul Revolution" it is a CD drama featuring the winners of the BSR48 contest. The winners would appear in a CD and the top winner to appear in a image video and a special web commercial. The top 6 "most popular" characters are Masamune Date, Mitsunari Ishida, Yukimura Sanada, Kojuro Katakura, Sasuke Sarutobi, Motonari Mori, and Motochika Chosokabe. The CD was also scheduled to have the antaonist be the character in positon 20. The lucky winner for position 20 is Nobunaga Oda.
Posted on Capcom's HD collection web pages is a sample of the "Soul Revolution" CD.
The sample sets up the CDs scenario. While none of the "BSR48" members appear on the sample, Nobunaga's evil laugh can be heard.

Along with the CD, Capcom has announced tha all pre-order (regardless of where you pre-order) will get two limited edition cards for Browser Sengoku BASARA and Sengoku BASARA Card Heroes. Much like they did for Lotte campaign, the two cards will be not only physical cards but will have a code that can be entered for the two games. The cards announced are Keiji Maeda for Browser Sengoku Basara and Hideyoshi Toyotomi for Card Heroes. The cards chosen reflect the theme of the Sengoku BASARA summer event which centers around the Toyotomi army.

Sengoku BASARA HD collection is set to sell for 4,990 yen. (roughly about $55.00) There is no word yet if Masamune's image video is only available to E-capcom members.

Sengoku BASARA HD collection

Hey there gamers! Sorry for the delay. Real life never wants to let me rest! Anyways. Here are some new updates on Sengoku BASARA HD collection!

Following Capcom's announcement that HD collection would be released, they announced available only to E-Capcom members would be the "BSR48" Drama CD.

BSR48 (a play off of AKB48's name) was a popularity poll. Only people who purchased "Sengoku BASARA 3 UTAGE" could vote. It was decided that the top seven winners and randomly the person in position 20 would be part of a special drama CD. The top winner would get a special "Image video" and a "Web Commercial" The results can be seen on the BSR48 web page. (see link below) Capcom have announced that the "Image Video" will be released as part of the E-Capcom pre-order goods. That being said, the winner is Masamune Date (with an over 2000 vote lead from the 2nd place). On the HD collection home page images of the Image Video have been posted along with a small explanation of the BRS48 campaign.

Within the last week, Capcom has announced more updates regarding HD Collection. Specifically a new trailer that highlights some of the features. Not only does the video show off some clips of the improved graphics and the new "Abington Boys School" song "WE aRE", but it shows a previously unannounced "Tag team" mode.

The newest (and final update for this post) is a screen shot of HD collections menu. Highlighted in the menu shot is a new feature. Called "All Commanders & Battlefield Free Mode". All* stages and missions can be played in one free mode. *Apparently there are a few exceptions.

This free mode allows you to play any stage from any of the games without having to go into each individual game to select the mode. The limitations to this are stated that you can only play the mode with characters from that game. (I.E You cannot play a Sengoku BASARA [1] stage with Hanbei). However, all characters* can play the "Sengoku BASARA 2 Heroes" battle stages. *Matsunaga is still unplayable.
