Sega's new golden child "Miku Hatsune" moves to the mobile platform yet again.

The mobile game "Hatsune Miku Live Stage Producer" which will be available for iOS and Android devices is a "simulation RPG"

The premise is that you own a concert hall which features Miku. Through a point system the player can entertain the people with a concert.

Using an "appeal" move will draw the crowd to the concert and increase their enjoyment level.

Miku will have costumes from previous Project Diva games.

Through trainning and contests the player can earn points and items. These points can be traded in for
different costumes, songs, background stages and appeal moves.

During concert performances the player needs to swipe hearts to make a combo. The higher the combo the better your score and the more live points you can use.

The live points will be needed to make your concert hall bigger and bigger.

Bombs are also present during the concert performance. They will break your combo and lower your score.

Sega hasn't release a date or a pice for the game. They only promise it will be release this year.

The game will be available for iOS (4 or higher) and Android (2.3 or higher)

Capcom Streaming Channels

Capcom's streaming channels will open on September 21st at 10:00 am Japan Standard Time.

All events will be open to watch on the streaming channels. Currently only Stickam has an opening schedule.

Neru, Haku, and Teto announced as DLC costumes

Fans of  SEGA's collaboration game Project Diva ~f~ for the Playstation Vita can throw more money at the company!

Teto Kasane, Haku Yowane, & Neru Akita

Sega announced at their TGS day 1 Project Diva panel the first of hopefully many downloadable costumes.
"Fake" Vocaloids (Known as Vipploids, Voykailoids, and BOKAloid amongst other names)

So who are they really? Many people know their names and songs but how did they come to be?

Teto Kasane

Teto's Project Diva ~f~ skin. 

The only one of our girls to have actually become a vocal bank.

Teto started out as a prank on popular web page "2channel" She was created with the intent of tricking Vocaloid fans. The video "Uso no utahime" [Fake Diva] Explains the rise and fall of Teto Kasane. Teto who didn't have a voice was given one by a Vocaloid rival program called "UTAU"
Despite this, both Crypton Future Media and KEI (the illustrator of the Crypton's Vocaloid Character series) have recognized Teto as part of the Crypton Vocaloid family.

While Neru and Haku have been included in the Project Diva games Teto was excluded. The reasons being that she is neither an official Miku derivative, nor a Vocaloid. However, SEGA was able to add her as a DLC for Project Diva 2nd.

Haku Yowane

Haku Yowane's Project Diva ~f~ skin.

Haku started her existence as a tag in Nico Nico Douga videos. Used to describe videos that used Miku but ended up sounding bad, Haku represents those who have tried and failed at composing Vocaloid songs.
After the tag became popular artists gathered to create an avatar and Haku was born. Her name means "To utter bad things)

Haku is recognized as an official "Miku derivative" meaning she uses Miku's voice to sing. Despite this both Haku and Neru are rarely seen singing. Usually the dance or are background scenery. Haku has only ever had one song to make it on Vocaloid rankings. The song "Daughter of White", a part of the "Story of Evil" arc, tells of Haku's roll in the story.

Neru Akita 

When a Television program in 2007 slammed those who used the Vocaloid program, the internet quickly cut Miku off from the world. Outraged, Miku fans took to the internet to complain. While many got riled up some people just brushed off the news saying "I'm going to bed". (Aa, Neru) For those fans who cared but pretended not to, Neru Akita was created to represent. Her name means "I'm bored, I'm going to bed" 

 Forever with her cell phone in hand, Neru hardly talks or sings. She is well known for being either in the band or a dancer. Her most popular role is that of the cell phone composer in the video "Triple Baka"
Neru like Haku appeared in Project Diva and Project Diva 2nd. Both girls received two outfits and a swimming suit along side their default costumes.

While SEGA has announced that these girls will be DLC for Project Diva ~f~ they have neither released a date or a price.

While one of the first companies to have a "TGS" site up for 2012, D3 has managed to not have any content up for it until the past few days.

D3 is the gaming company behind many of the top selling "otome" dating games such as the "Vitamin" series and more recently "Custom Drive" and "Storm Lover"

D3 has expanded their audience with series "Earth Defense Force" and their Hostess Club simulator "Dream Club" series.

Project Diva -Dreamy Theater EXTEND-

Among-st the chaos of TGS announcements and preparations, Sega announced the newest installment of their hit rhythm game series "Miku Hatsune Project Diva"

For those with access to Playstation Network JP, Sega has announced the final details of "Dreamy Theater EXTEND".

So just what is "Project Diva: Dreamy Theater?"

Dreamy Theater is an ongoing compilation of the PSP Project Diva games ported to the Playstation 3. It comes with the interface of the game and the songs/costumes for purchased packs. I.E. if you bought Dreamy Theater 2, songs and costumes that come with the game and ones you have purchased as DLC for Project Diva 2nd will be available*, but not the ones for original Dreamy Theater.

Using a tab system the player can go through the packs they have purchased and play the songs in HD graphics. For Dreamy Theater 2 and EXTEND, users with a 3D television can utilize this function and play in 3D.

Dreamy Theater requires save game data from the PSP version. The data is then transfered through a free app that can be downloaded from PSNjp. After the transfer, all songs and costumes you have unlocked through play are playable on Dreamy Theater.

Sega has confirmed that all costumes that come with the EXTEND PSP software are available. However, not all of the songs are available.^

The newest feature (exclusive to Dreamy Theater EXTEND) is "Concert Appreciation Mode"
Using the 2012 "Hatsune Miku no Hi, Kanshasai FINAL" (Miku's Thanksgiving Day FINAL) stage set up and choosing from a list of 11 songs+, you can make your own concert for Miku and her fellow Crypton Vocaloids: Rin & Len Kagamine, and Luka Megurine. This mode allows you to control the camera and lighting as well as make your own promotional video of the concert.

In additon to Concert Appriciation Mode, Sega has announced that some costumes from "Project Diva ARCADE" will be available in Dreamy Theater Extend.

Project X Zone TGS event.

Project X (cross) Zone TGS event announcement

The "Dream collaboration" game "Project X zone" (read as "Project Cross Zone") in which companies BandaiNamco, Capcom, and Sega have collaborated, will make its actual debut at TGS 2012.

Project X Zone has had many game fans excited since its announcments. The Nintendo 3DS game listed as a "Simulation RPG" combines characters from such popular franchises such as "Street Fighter" "Shining Force" and ".hack" and puts them in an all out war to save Earth and it's inner demensions.

The game boasts to have a roster of over 50 playable characters from over 25 different popular series from Sega, Capcom, and BandaiNamco.

So wich lucky company will be hosting the game at TGS 2012? It seems that Bandai Namco will be holding the game at their booth along with the special events.

On 9/20 at 14:00 (2:00 pm)*, Various producers and project directors from Sega, Capcom, and BandaiNamco will be introducing various aspects from the game as well as their company's contributions to the game.

On 9/22 at 12:30 pm*,  Another event scheduled for the fans will be held. Voice actresses Chisa Yokoyama ("Sakura Shinguji" From "Sakura Wars" and "Servebots" From Megaman Legands) and Masumi Asano ("Black Rose" from ".hack" and "Imca" from "Valkyria Chronicles III") as well as Voice actor Ryotaro Okiayu ("Zero" from "Mega Man X") are to be in attendence.

Hello Gamers!

Long time no see! I'm pleased to be back and updating everyone once again on the world of Japan games!

So without further ado, Here we go!

Created on July 12th, 1993, Nippon Ichi Sofware (NIS) has been entertaining gamers for 19 years. In order to help celebrate, NIS will be holding a year long countdown to their 20th year. With a constant stream of events NIS reminds all their fans, and those who may not be, about some of the amazing games they've made over the years. Starting with their first game, "Puzzle World" up to their newest game "Kami-sama to unmei kakumei no Paradox"

The game which has been developed by the same team as the Disgaea, lists itself as "unmei kakumei RPG" Not many details have been released but more is expected to be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2012.
